Ariel Chobaz is a Grammy nominated mix engineer who truly takes recording, mixing, and vocal post-production to a new level. His experience as well as an ear for different genres creates a mix that is larger than life every time. Ariel is fast becoming one of the top recording engineers and mixers in LA with his most recent work on Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday." The entire album mixed and recorded by Ariel lead him to break the record for mixing the most charted singles by any female rap album in Billboard history. His most recent credits also include Rihanna, Drake, Britney Spears, Flo Rida, Lil Wayne, and Keyshia Cole.
Ariel's career in the entertainment industry began while attending the Recording Institute of Technology. Being the only person to ace the entrance exam, Ariel was offered an internship at Enterprise Studios, the number 2 Billboard rated studio in the world at the time. Before graduating, he was hired and began working for various artists including Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, The Roots, and Busta Ryhmes. While engineering at Enterprise, Ariel was spotted and recruited by mix engineer Dave Pensado to be his assistant mix and chief recording engineer. During that time Ariel completed hundreds of major label singles including singles for Destiny's Child, The Pussycat Dolls, Keyshia Cole, Nelly, and Christina Aguilera.
Since going independent in 2006 Ariel has broken several Billboard records, received a Grammy nomination, and is on the fast track to getting his first Grammy award.
